Taichi classes, Chen style
Learning Taichi is a lifelong process but you can start feeling the benefits as a beginner. We start working on the basic movements and concepts of taichi to progressively deepen into the practice and knowledge of its principles. Taichi originated as a martial art but its practice now is often more focused on health.
The classes always start with a warm up and then move on to one or more of the following:

- silk reeling (repetitive movements) to work on the basic principles of Taichi: balance, change of weight, fluidity of the movement, etc
- movements of the forms: we start with the short form (18 movements) to move to the long form (74 movements) called Lao Jia Yi Lu
- basic push hands (pair work) to better understand the applications of the movements, to improve balance, strengthen our form and listen to others
